Background Information
we are secondary 4 students that attended Lester B. Pearson. We have the opportunity to take a robotic's class with one of the best robotics engineer who has thought us how to build a Website as well as the amazing robot we are promoting. We have created a robot that can help a soccer referee to move cones from one spot to another.
OUR COURSE
Introduction to robotics and coding is an elective and practical course designed to allow
students to learn the basics about designing, building, and programming robots.
Furthermore students will be able to apply theoretical notions in science, technology,
engineering and mathematics through various practical projects.
OUR TEACHER
Mr. Mayard holds a double bachelor from McGill University. The first is in science with two
majors in mathematics and physics. The second bachelor is in education. Mr. Mayard has been a
member of the Engineering Committee of the Canadian Robotics Competition (CRC) and a judge
of several robotics competition for high schools and college students.
